BIO

With over three decades of experience in design, education and illustration, Pam shares knowledge in the often misunderstood world of Digital Art.  Her journey as a Graphic Designer and as a painter enables her to intertwine and develop skills to form a colorful world of line, shape, and simplicity  -  pushing the art of Graphic Design into a Fine Art form.  Testing the limits of what we see every day into a stripped down view of color and shape where the viewer’s eye brings in the detail of personal memory.

“Sharing the community story is at the forefront of my work - “landscape” is only one part of the story, it is they who live in its body that understand the true rawness of its unity...and if I can make someone smile in the process, my job is complete.”

Her colorful, geometric work is collected around the world and has won numerous awards including the GOLD Mom’s Choice Award for Distinctive Illustrations on her debut children’s book, “Letter Birds”. Her mural work surrounds Cleveland, Ohio and her landscape illustrations have been featured on the World Wildlife Fund’s social media.

Pam is a faculty member at the Cleveland Institute of Art, College of Art and Design (CIA).
